Kim Soo Hyun files 11 billion won defamation lawsuit against Kim Sae Ron’s family, accuses Garosero of stalking

Kim Soo Hyun accused of dating Kim Sae Ron when she was a minor

South Korean actor Kim Soo Hyun is currently entangled in late actress Kim Sae Ron’s dating controversy. He faced serious allegations from the late actress’ family, which led to a huge backlash from social media users.

However, Kim Soo Hyun seems to have fought back and filed an 11 billion Won defamation lawsuit against Kim Sae Ron’s family and the YouTube channel Garosero Research Institute, run by Kim Se Ui.

Additionally, the actor’s agency, Gold Medalist, took legal action and filed a legal complaint against Kim Se Ui, citing stalking, cyber harassment, and defamation. Kim Soo Hyun's law firm, LKB and Partners, has recently announced that they have officially filed a legal complaint against Kim Se Ui on April 2.

The complaint claimed that Kim Se Ui's actions go beyond defamation and have been targeting Kim Soo Hyun persistently. Kim Soo Hyun's lawyers further claimed that Kim Se Ui has been making daily livestreams with harmful accusations about the actor. They also noted that Kim Se Ui has shared private photos, videos, and messages without permission and spread false information.

The legal team dubbed Kim Se Ui's relentless broadcasts ‘stalking’ and ‘cyber wrecking’. They also made it clear that the recent legal action has been taken to stop Kim Se Ui from constantly attacking Kim Soo Hyun's reputation.

However, the latest lawsuit isn't the first time Kim Soo Hyun's team has taken legal action against Kim Se Ui. The actor’s legal team has previously sued the YouTuber for damaging Kim Soo Hyun's reputation and spreading false and harmful content.

The recent lawsuit came after the actor broke down in tears during a recent press conference. He also denied dating Sae-Ron when she was a "minor", and claimed that their relationship only began in 2019 when she was 19 and he was 31.
