Veteran actress and politician Khushbu Sundar has surprised her fans and followers by showinf off her slimmer avatar. The former child actress has lost 20 kg at the age of 54. Khushbu also shared her fitness regime with her fans on social media and shared that her routine involved yoga, planks, and diet control. Actor and BJP politician is making headlines after her prominent weight loss. Khushbu's appearance left social media users in a frenzy. While many praised the actress, a group of users accused her of undergoing cosmetic injections for the transformation and called her images AI-generated.

Photographs of her transformed self went viral, but it also caused much negativity from a section of people on the internet. Some alleged that she used cosmetic injections for the transformation, whereas others even claimed that the photographs were not real but rather AI-generated.

Khushbu mentioned that she made an extra effort to lose weight to avoid age-related health issues like high blood pressure and elevated blood sugar. She stated, "Both are ticking time bombs," and shared that her mother has hypertension.

"I once got scared at seeing my own face," Khushbu Sundar took her doctor's advice during the COVID period. "I started reducing my weight bit by little bit at that time itself. It took me four years to cut it down to this level.” During her weight loss journey, she discovered that she has gluten intolerance as well. "If I eat maida or chapati, there would be swelling in my body," she disclosed.

She is not the only actor to have lost weight at the age of 50 other actors in the past have also spoken about switching to healthier lifestyle lately.

Ram Kapoor

Actor Ram Kapoor popularly known for his role of a chubby and obese businessman in  Bade Achhe Lagte Hain left the internet stunned after his immense weight loss. The 52-year-old actor managed to loss over 55kg. He credited his success to a "mindset shift" rather than dieting, implementing a 16-hour daily fast, cutting out dairy, sugar, and oily foods.

Karan Johar

The filmmaker achieved an impressive weight loss of 20 kg at the age of 53 by adopting a disciplined and consistent approach to his health and fitness. Central to his method was the OMAD (One Meal A Day) strategy, which involves consuming all daily caloric intake in a single meal

Vidya Balan

47-year-old Vidya Balan achieved significant weight loss in 2024–2025 by focusing on an anti-inflammatory diet rather than intense exercise. Working with Amura Nutrition, she identified and eliminated foods causing internal inflammation. Her approach focused on eating whole, nutrient-dense foods (veggies, fruits, lean protein) to improve overall health.

Fardeen Khan

Fardeen Khan, 52, underwent an impressive weight loss of 25 kg, decreasing from a maximum weight of 102-103 kg to approximately 78-79 kg.  His transformation, motivated by a commitment to restore his health, included abstaining from alcohol and engaging in intense workouts consistently five times a week.

Adnan Sami

Although his massive 150 kg transformation happened over several years, he has continued to manage his health post the age of 40. He lost the weight through a rigorous high-protein, low-calorie diet, completely cutting out sugar and oil.

Neena Gupta

Although not a weight loss transformation, Neena Gupta continues to remain at the age of 66. The actress follows a simple and disciplined lifestyle rather than strict dieting, focusing on daily 1-hour walks, morning yoga, and eating simple, home-cooked food.
