British actress Ruari Cannon has filed sexual abuse charges on veteran actor Kevin Spacey, 65. She is going to sue the actor and two organisations which are connected to London's Old Vic Theatre. Kevin Spacey was the artistic director of London's Old Vic Theatre between 2003 and 2015.
According to news agency AFP, the claimant's legal firm Fieldfisher confirmed that a new civil claim alleging sexual abuse against Oscar-winning actor Kevin Spacey was filed on Wednesday at London's High Court.
Kevin Spacey was found not guilty of several criminal sexual charges alleged by four men in 2023.
The 'House of Cards' actor was acquitted by majority verdicts in London following a trial that lasted several weeks.
The fresh claim that was filed on Wednesday is not related to any of the earlier accusers involved in the criminal trial.
Kevin Spacey won the Best Supporting Actor Oscar for 1996 film 'The Usual Suspects' and Best Actor in 2000 for 'American Beauty.'
But his flourishing career was halted by the allegations of sexual offences, which first came into news in 2017 as part of the #MeToo movement. Allegations that he has always denied.
