Akshay Kumar's starrer period drama, Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh, recently made its debut in the theatres and has been enjoying decent numbers at the box office.
The film has notably collected Rs 10.08 crore, with a total of Rs 17.92 crore on its second day of release. However, the film is expected to add more numbers on the first Sunday.
The film opened with Rs 7. 75 crore on Friday. However, the film’s collection is still less than Akshay Kumar's previous release, Sky Force. The film was released in January 2025 and bagged Rs 33.75 crore in just two days.
The film features an ensemble cast including R Madhavan and Ananya Panday in the pivotal roles. Ananya recently celebrated the box office success of the film and shared a poster featuring the latest collection.

Akshay stars as the real-life figure C. Sankaran Nair, a lawyer who fought against the British Raj to uncover the truth about the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. Meanwhile, R. Madhavan plays the role of Advocate Neville McKinley, and Ananya Panday portrays Dilreet Gill.
Kesari 2 was released in the theatres on Friday and is one of the most anticipated releases of the year. The revolves around an untold story investigating the Jallianwala Bagh massacre.
