Kaun Banega Crorepati 16

The latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 continued with the talented 10-year-old contestant, Vaishnavi Krishnadasi, from Pune, Maharashtra. She had already won ₹80,00,000 in the previous episode and returned with great enthusiasm. Host Amitabh Bachchan resumed the game with the ₹1,60,000 question:

"Which is the largest living member of the dog family in the wild?"

Uncertain of the answer, Vaishnavi opted to use her Gyanstraa lifeline to swap the question. However, before changing, she took a guess and locked Option D) Spotted Hyena, which turned out to be incorrect. The correct answer was Option A) Gray Wolf.

The new question from her favorite subject, Science, was presented:

"Which of these is a good conductor of electricity?"

Vaishnavi confidently chose Option D) Silver, securing ₹1,60,000. During a lighthearted conversation, she shared her dream of becoming an astronaut to explore planets.

Moving forward, she faced the ₹3,20,000 question:

"Which of these scientists developed a calculating device called 'bones'?"

She correctly answered Option D) John Napier, doubling her winnings.

To add a personal touch, Big B displayed photographs of Vaishnavi dressed as different characters for past fancy dress competitions. When asked about her interest in acting, she excitedly revealed that Deepika Padukone was her favorite actress. Encouraged by Big B, she flawlessly enacted Deepika’s iconic "Ek chutki sindoor" dialogue from Om Shanti Om, earning a standing ovation from the host.

Next, she entered the 'Super Sandook' round, where she answered eight questions correctly, winning an additional ₹80,000 and reviving her 'Audience Poll' lifeline.

During a break, a heartwarming moment unfolded when Big B noticed her untied shoelace. He offered to tie it, but before he could, Vaishnavi quickly tied it herself. Amused, she then mischievously untied it again and playfully requested him to tie it for her, which he happily did, bringing smiles to everyone.

Back to the game, she tackled the ₹6,40,000 question:

"Which left-handed batter was named the ICC Women’s ODI Cricketer of the Year 2024?"

Using the Audience Poll', she locked Option B) Smriti Mandhana and won the amount.

For ₹12,50,000, she was asked:

"In order to defend his people from which enemy did Lord Krishna have the city of 'Dwarka' built?"

With the help of the 'Ask The Expert' lifeline, she correctly chose Option C) Jarasandha.

Next came the Rs. 25,00,000 question:

"Which national park located in Arunachal Pradesh shares its name with a nearby peak?"

Feeling unsure, Vaishnavi decided to quit the game. Before leaving, she took a guess and selected Option D) Intanki, which was incorrect—the right answer was your day Option A) Mouling.

Vaishnavi left the show with an impressive Rs. 12,50,000, winning hearts with her knowledge, charm, and confidence.
