The latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 featured Aditi Khode from Nasik, Maharashtra, who took the hot seat with confidence. Her journey on the show began with an image-based question, showcasing her keen intellect and knowledge.

Aditi is an IIT Bombay alumna and a college medallist. Despite her parents having studied only till the 12th grade, she aspires to pursue an MBA and eventually establish her own consultancy firm. Amitabh Bachchan admired her clarity of ambition, remarking, “Hamare zamane me aisa nahi tha,” as he praised the younger generation for their determination.

During the game, Aditi used her first lifeline, Audience Poll, for the ₹5,000 question: The region of Khandesh, situated in north Maharashtra, includes which of these districts? The options were:

A. Kolhapur B. Nagpur C. Sangli D. Dhule. With the audience’s help, she correctly answered option D.

For her Super Sawaal, she was asked: Who directed films like Black, Bajirao Mastani, and Gangubai Kathiawadi? She confidently answered Sanjay Leela Bhansali, winning the Dugnaastra lifeline.

Aditi spoke about her IIT journey, which began in 10th grade despite personal challenges. She shared, “My father had a heart transplant, but my parents always supported me.” When Big B asked what drew her to IIT, she revealed, “I loved math, science, and painting. My tuition teacher suggested I prepare for IIT.”

As a few of her paintings were displayed, Amitabh Bachchan was impressed and joked, “Why did you go to IIT when you can paint like this? You should pursue painting.”

Aditi mentioned she was making a painting for him and requested his address. In his signature style, Big B replied, “Wherever you say, I will come to take it.”

She later used Dugnaastra for the ₹40,000 question, securing a bonus amount and advancing further in the game.

Aditi then secured ₹30,000 in the Super Sandook round, adding the amount to her winnings. She is a dual-degree holder with a Master’s qualification. Her academic achievements include conducting field studies in Mumbai and receiving an award as an undergraduate researcher.

Aditi faced a tough moment when she used Video Call a Friend for the ₹6,40,000 question: Three Million is a podcast about which event of the 20th century? The options were:

A. Jallianwala Bagh massacreB. Bangladesh Liberation WarC. 1951 Asian GamesD. 1943 Bengali Famine

Receiving no help, she opted for her last lifeline, Double Dip. Big B advised her to play as it was a low-risk question. She first selected option B, which was incorrect, and then option A, which was also wrong. The correct answer was option D.

Despite this setback, Aditi took home ₹3,90,000, including her Dugnaastra bonus amount and Super Sandook winnings.
