The latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 featured the lively and ambitious contestant, Dipali Soni, who stole the spotlight with her wit and charm. Accompanied by her supportive husband and son, Dipali embarked on her quiz journey with dreams of winning big, and one particular goal in mind—buying a car. As she navigated through the questions, her enthusiasm and light-hearted banter with host Amitabh Bachchan made the episode a memorable one.
The episode began with Dipali answering her first question for Rs 1,000, correctly associating the terms ‘midnight’ and ‘noon’ with the number 12. Her streak continued as she confidently answered the next few questions, winning Rs 10,000 and then advancing to the Super Sawaal round. She correctly identified the river Ganga as the one on whose banks the Kashi Vishwanath temple stands, securing the Dugnaastra power, which she later used to double her winnings to Rs 40,000.

Big B playfully asked Dipali if she would take him out for a drive if he ever visited Vadodara, to which she laughed and agreed. He then humorously requested her husband to stay behind, saying, "If I go on a drive with her, who knows, we might find a beautiful spot, and Dipali ji might want to make a video..." Her husband chuckled and agreed to the playful suggestion.
Dipali's pride was evident as she expressed how this was her first significant earning, especially from a show as prestigious as KBC. She then used the Double Dip lifeline on the Rs 80,000 question about the goddess born as Devi Sita, answering correctly with Devi Lakshmi. This moment prompted Big B to ask her husband how they met, leading to a touching anecdote about their arranged marriage, love at first sight, and the couple’s enduring bond over 25 years.

Their relationship was highlighted further when Big B showed a dance reel of the couple, humorously advising other couples on how to keep the spark alive. Dipali’s husband shared that they often create videos while traveling, considering themselves as "hero and heroine" in their own stories.
In a lighter moment, Dipali convinced Big B to record a caller tune on her phone, playfully requesting multiple takes until she was satisfied. Big B, though phones are typically not allowed on set, obliged her request, jokingly insisting she return the phone afterward.
As the game progressed, Dipali utilized her Audience Poll lifeline for a Rs 3,20,000 question, correctly identifying Confucius as a contemporary of Lord Buddha. Expressing her desire to buy a car, she shared that her husband only allows her to drive in open spaces, not in traffic, which made the car prize even more special.
Dipali's journey continued with a Rs 6,40,000 question about the floors of a famous Indian structure, for which she again turned to the Audience Poll and Video Call lifelines. She correctly answered with the Hawa Mahal, Jaipur, before deciding to quit on the Rs 12,50,000 question about India’s largest climate clock, taking home Rs 6,40,000 in winnings and a Rs 40,000 bonus.
