Karishma Sharma discharged from hospital after jumping from a moving train: "It's been a really tough and scary experience"

Actress Karishma Sharma recently made headlines after she revealed that she jumped from a moving local train, suffering numerous injuries. She has now shared an update on her health and reflected on the accident.

Karishma took to her Instagram Story and shared that she had been discharged from the hospital on Saturday. She also expressed gratitude to her friends, family and fans for their love and support.

The actress shared a picture from the hospital and wrote, “Hey guys, I just wanted to share that I've finally been discharged from the hospital. The doctor told me that, thankfully, the injury isn't too deep, but I will still feel some pain for a while as I recover.”

Karishma talked about her ‘scary experience’ and continued, “It's been a really tough and scary experience, but I feel so blessed to have all of your love, prayers, and support. Honestly, that's what gave me the strength to get through this.”

She added, “And not to forget my mom, who took the very next flight and gave me so much strength. Thank you so much for being there for me - it truly means the world.”

Karishma left her fans shocked and concerned after she revealed the accident details on September 11 on her Instagram Story.

She shared at the time, “I just remember I was on the train, waiting and telling my friends and team to come, and the next thing I know, I'm at some railway station's medical spot, throwing up like six or seven times. I couldn't stand straight-they got me a wheelchair and took me to the car.”

She further noted that she was at Andheri station getting on a local train to Churchgate with a small group of people, including a friend, her hairdresser, and a photographer. The actress claimed that she had gotten on the train in a saree, jumped off, and hit her head when the train accelerated, and her friends were unable to keep up.

According to reports, doctors kept her under observation and conducted an MRI to make sure the head injury was not serious.
