While Kareena was out with her friends, Saif was at their Bandra residence with their sons – Taimur and Jeh. The shocking incident took place early in the morning on Thursday, January 16, 2025, around 2:30 AM. A robber broke into Saif's house while the family was asleep. When Saif woke up and realised there was an intruder, he confronted the robber.
Unfortunately, during the struggle, the intruder stabbed Saif multiple times. The actor was injured in the altercation.
After the attack, Saif was rushed to Lilavati hospital, where he received immediate medical attention.

Doctors confirmed that Saif had suffered several stab wounds, but fortunately, he is stable now. Reports also suggest that the actor is being operated upon right now at the Lilavati hospital.
His fans and well-wishers have expressed their relief, as the injuries are not life-threatening, but the incident has left many shocked and worried about the safety of celebrities in their own homes.
Meanwhile, Kareena Kapoor was not present at the house when the attack happened. She had been out with her sister Karisma and friends Sonam and Rhea for a fun night. It is reported that Kareena received the news of the robbery and her husband’s injury soon after the incident took place. She immediately rushed to be by Saif’s side at the hospital.
This unfortunate event has raised concerns about security at celebrity homes in Mumbai. Saif’s family has not made any public statements yet, but it is expected that they will share more details once Saif's health improves.
