Kareena Kapoor faces backlash over her dance on 'Fevicol se' at Birmingham event

Kareena Kapoor is back in news following her latest outing in Birmingham. The actress was in the UK for the launch of a jewellery store, where her fans turned up in huge numbers just to catch a glimpse of Bebo.

Dressed in a stunning silver shimmery saree, Kareena looked every bit a diva.

Social media was flooded with clips and pictures from the event, with fans showering her with compliments like “Queen of Bollywood” and “Timeless beauty.” Sister Karisma Kapoor even dropped a sweet comment, calling her “My diamond.”

But what really set the internet buzzing was Kareena’s performance. On stage, she danced on her hit ‘Fevicol Se’ from Salman Khan’s ‘Dabangg 2’, complete with the signature hook step. The crowd in Birmingham cheered loudly, clapping along as Kareena owned the stage.

Netizen's Reaction

However, not everyone was impressed. Some netizens felt the song wasn’t the right pick for a jewellery inauguration event.

“There are so many other good songs of her that could’ve been played at an Jewellery event?,” one user pointed out.

Another commented, “This is so awkward to watch...this is not a stage performance which made it so uncomfortable to watch.. I wonder what made bebo agree to do it.”

On the work front, Kareena was recently seen in Jaane Jaan, Singham Again and Hansal Mehta’s The Buckingham Murders. Up next, she teams up with director Meghna Gulzar for Daayra, opposite Prithviraj Sukumaran, a crime drama that promises to dive deep into justice and punishment.
