Kareena and Karisma shine in ethnic looks as the Kapoor family celebrates Ganesh Chaturthi

The Kapoor family came together for a Ganesh Chaturthi celebration this Sunday, and fans got a glimpse of the cozy family moments thanks to Kareena Kapoor.

The actor shared pictures on her Instagram Stories, capturing the warmth of the celebration at her father Randhir Kapoor’s home.

Kareena Kapoor, dressed in a pristine white salwar suit, posed with her sister Karisma Kapoor, who looked elegant in a light green salwar suit. Cousins Aadar Jain and Armaan Jain joined the celebrations with their spouses, Alekha Advani and Anissa Malhotra Jain, in matching outfits, Aadar and Alekha in white, while Armaan and Anissa opted for pink.

One sweet family moment showed Babita Kapoor seated in the middle of a group photo with all the women, with the beautifully decorated Ganesh idol placed beside them, adorned with marigold flowers.

The festivities were filled with tradition and nostalgia. Kareena had earlier shared a picture of her elder son Taimur Ali Khan praying in front of a small Ganesh altar. “I remember, as a child, the RK family Ganpati was always special, just like how we celebrated all festivals…Now, my children look forward to it too… Ganpati Bappa Morya! Bless us all with love and peace forever , from all of us,” she captioned the post.

Kareena Kapoor, who was last seen in Singham Again, released during last year’s Diwali, will next appear in Meghna Gulzar’s Daayra, co-starring Prithviraj Sukumaran.
