Karan Johar wishes best to Aryan Khan

As Aryan Khan, the eldest son of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, gets ready for the release of his directorial debut, The Ba***ds of Bollywood, on Netflix tomorrow, September 18, the anticipation is growing.

Filmmaker and family friend Karan Johar wrote a heartfelt, proud, and loving letter for Aryan ahead of the premiere of the highly anticipated series.

Karan, who has been close to the Khan family for decades, praised Aryan for carving his own creative path. In a note brimming with warmth, he wrote: "Shine on son!!! Tonight is your big night… when your family , friends and the fraternity will welcome you to the movies with their arms wide out ( your father made that a national gesture ) … you treaded a path that many never believed you would … the daunting task of being behind the camera… of being a story teller and the captain of its execution… have seen you work tirelessly and passionately for over 2 years and never once taking the opportunity given to you for granted…."

“You have an individual style of telling your story and I can’t wait for everyone to see and hear your voice in #badsofbollywood … I am so so proud of you and love you so much!!! (also thanks for giving me a part in the show, I was secretly dying for you to ask me) …. Series toh ban gayi beta…Picture abhi baaki hai (The series is done but the picture is yet to come)!!!!! (red heart emoticons).” He added.

The cheeky admission that he was “secretly dying” to be part of Aryan’s project added a touch of humour to what was otherwise an emotional blessing, underlining the deep bond Karan shares with the Khans.

The Ba***ds of Bollywood is positioned as a sharp satire on the Hindi film industry. Lakshya, Sahher Bambba, Bobby Deol, Raghav Juyal, Anya Singh, Mona Singh, Gautami Kapoor, Manoj Pahwa, Rajat Bedi, and Manish Chaudhari are among its talented ensemble cast members.

Some of the biggest names in the business, including Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Ranveer Singh, Badshah, Shah Rukh Khan, and even Karan Johar himself, will make cameos in the series, which will only increase the excitement.

Aryan Khan sees this debut as more than just another Netflix release. It marks the beginning of his journey as a storyteller independent of his father's enormous legacy. There is a lot of excitement surrounding the show, and everyone will be watching to see how Aryan injects his distinct style into the Bollywood satire.
