Filmmaker Karan Johar introduced Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, and Sidharth Malhotra with Student of the Year in 2012. He has now shared an emotional post for the actors.

Karan took to his Instagram Story and shared a poster of the film featuring the actors. Alongside the photo, he penned in the caption, “They have taught me more than they will ever know (or I will give them credit for). Love to my students who inadvertently were also my teachers…” He concluded the caption with the hashtag, “#happyteachersday.”

His post has demonstrated once more the close, affectionate bond between the director and the three people he first presented to the public ten years ago. Karan has frequently reflected on their unique bond over the years.

On the work front, Karan has recently attended a press event for his upcoming film, Teja Sajja’s Mirai. He has backed the film.

His next film, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, which is helmed by Shashank Khaitan and stars Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor, Sanya Malhotra, and Rohit Saraf, will be released in theatres on October 2.

The makers have recently dropped the teaser of the film, creating a buzz among the fans. The teaser features vibrant dance sequences and humorous moments. As an auspicious beginning to the promotions, Varun even went to Mumbai's renowned Lalbaugcha Raja for Ganesh Chaturthi to ask for blessings for the movie.
