Kantara Chapter 1: Gulshan Devaiah’s first look as Kulashekara unveiled

The first glimpse of actor Gulshan Devaiah as Kulashekara has been released by the producers of Kantara: Chapter 1, the eagerly anticipated prequel to Rishab Shetty's popular film Kantara.

Hombale Films announced the news on Tuesday, posting the poster on its official X account with the following caption: "Introducing @gulshandevaiah as 'KULASHEKARA' from the world of #KantaraChapter1." On October 2, #KantaraChapter1 will be shown in theaters.

This revelation follows the team's introduction of Kanakavathi, played by actress Rukmini Vasanth. Since the producers revealed the film's completion in July and released a behind-the-scenes video highlighting the enormous scope and amount of work required, anticipation for the movie has been progressively growing. The film was filmed over three years with thousands of people, according to director Rishab Shetty, who described it as a "divine force" rather than merely a film.

In the making video, Rishab Shetty shared his vision: "I have a dream—to tell the story of my land to the whole world." Our beliefs, our village, and our people. This was made possible by my team's unwavering faith, 250 days of shooting, and three years of hard work. This is a divine force, not just a movie. Greetings from Kantara's world.
