On the occasion of Varamahalakshmi Festival, the first glimpse of actress Rukmini Vasanth as Kanakavathi, the central character of the forthcoming masterpiece Kantara: Chapter 1, was unveiled.
Co-written and directed by Rishab Shetty, who also stars as the protagonist, the film acts as a prequel to the highly successful 2022 movie Kantara.

Earlier this year, the production team sparked widespread excitement by releasing Rishab Shetty’s first look on his birthday, which instantly went viral across social media platforms.
Shortly afterward, the wrap-up video amplified the anticipation, fueling even greater enthusiasm among fans. With the latest reveal of Kanakavathi’s character poster, the film’s promotional campaign has now reached another significant high, keeping audiences eagerly engaged.
