The 71st National Films award held on September 23 at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi, where Bollywood films stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Vikrant Massey and Rani Mukerji were honoured in the Best Actor Category.
But it was the 4-year-old Marathi child actor named Treesha Thosar who stole the lime light of the event when she went on the stage wearing a white saree and with a cute smile to collect her award. Treesha’s presence got the loudest cheer from the audience.
Veteran actor Kamal Haasan agreeing to this took to his X handle to give a shoutout to the child for her achievement.
In the caption the veteran actor wrote, “Dear Ms. Treesha Thoshar, my loudest applause goes to you. You’ve beaten my record, as I was already six when I got my first award! Way to go madam. Keep working on your incredible talent. My appreciation to your elders in the house.”
