Punjabi singer Rupinder Handa's latest concert in Edmonton, Canada turned out to be chaotic and her team blamed the local promoter for the ruckus and mismanagement.

In a video that is going viral from the event, Rupinder is heard saying that she arrived in Edmonton at 1:30 PM, well ahead of her planned performance.

Rupinder was clearly emotional and seen breaking down as the circumstances developed, as videos going viral online now show.

According to her team, the local organisers showed total lack of coordination; nobody was present to welcome her at the airport and no information about her lodging was provided.

Her team's statement goes on to mention that the promoter only reached out after she had already arrived at the venue’s parking lot. She was momentarily greeted with a flower bouquet but was then asked to leave without any clear instructions or support from the organizing team.

Despite the unfortunate turn of events, Rupinder Handa’s team extended heartfelt gratitude to the people of Edmonton and the local supporters who stepped in to assist and support her during this unexpected ordeal.

Despite the lack of proper coordination, Rupinder Handa still went on to deliver a one-and-a-half-hour performance for her audience. However, the situation deteriorated further after the show. According to her team, tensions rose when the promoter and her husband allegedly tried to prevent Rupinder from leaving the stage, attempting to confine her and exert pressure on her to speak to the audience.

According to the statement, Rupinder tried to get in touch with her original promoter and they tried to grab her phone to stop her from phoning.

Her hotel's specifics were reportedly only revealed much later, at 2:38 PM. When she finally arrived at the hotel, she was once again left unattended. It wasn’t the event organizers but rather sponsors and well-wishers who ultimately stepped in to help her get settled.

The Edmonton audience and local supporters, some of whom assisted Rupinder Handa in navigating the situation, have been thanked by her team.

The team wrote, "Team Rupinder Handa thanks Edmonton for their support and condemns the mismanagement and unprofessional behavior of the organizers."
