Aamir Khan's son Junaid Khan is gearing up for his big-screen debut with Loveyapa and has been making headlines for his candid remarks during promotions. In a recent interview with Siddharth Kannan, Junaid opened up about his introverted nature, his disinterest in parties, and how he felt “useless” during his sister Ira Khan’s wedding to Nupur Shikhare in 2024.

Junaid humorously shared that he spent most of Ira’s wedding sitting outside the venue, avoiding the hustle and bustle. “I don’t enjoy parties with lots of people and loud music. Marriage is basically that,” he admitted. Reflecting on his father’s reaction post-wedding, he revealed, “After my sister’s wedding, even my dad said, ‘If you plan to get married, please run away and do it.’”

The actor also confessed that his family has come to terms with his lack of enthusiasm for social gatherings. “Ira knew very well that no one should expect anything from Junaid. I am very useless in all these things,” he joked. Junaid explained that he wasn’t consulted or assigned any responsibilities for Ira’s wedding. “They just told me the date and time, and I showed up. They knew if they gave me any task, it wouldn’t get done,” he added with a laugh.

When asked about his involvement in family decisions, Junaid admitted, “I am useless there as well. My family tries to involve me, but I just don’t fit into these situations.” Even at parties hosted by his father, Aamir Khan, Junaid prefers to sit on the balcony, away from the crowd.

Junaid's debut film, Loveyapa, directed by Advait Chandan and co-starring Khushi Kapoor, is eagerly awaited and promises to showcase his talent. While Junaid might steer clear of the spotlight at family events, he’s ready to make his mark in Bollywood on his own terms.
