Bollywood actor and producer John Abraham has made a significant real estate move, leasing out three of his residential properties in Mumbai's upscale Bandra West locality. This strategic decision, according to property registration documents reviewed by Square Yards, is projected to generate an impressive Rs. 4.3 crore in rental income over a five-year period. The deal, officially registered in May 2025, highlights the enduring value and investment potential of Mumbai's premium real estate market.

The properties are situated within The Sea Glimpse Co-operative Housing Society, a testament to Abraham's discerning investment choices. The initial cumulative monthly rent for all three units is set at Rs. 6.30 lakh, with a structured escalation plan designed to maximize returns. Square Yards' analysis indicates a close to 8% annual rent escalation for the first two years, followed by approximately 5% for the subsequent two years, culminating in a monthly rent of Rs. 8 lakh in the final year of the 60-month lease. The registration of this substantial agreement involved a stamp duty of Rs. 1,12,600 and registration charges of Rs. 1,000, alongside a significant security deposit of Rs. 36 lakh.

Bandra's reputation as one of Mumbai's most established and high-value real estate markets is well-deserved. It's a vibrant hub offering a sophisticated blend of premium residential and commercial properties, ranging from upscale apartments to heritage bungalows and boutique commercial developments. This unique mix consistently attracts both end-users seeking a coveted lifestyle and astute investors looking for robust returns. The locality's exceptional connectivity, via the Western Express Highway, Bandra railway station, and upcoming Metro lines, further enhances its appeal. Its proximity to major business districts like Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), Lower Parel, and the international airport makes it an ideal location for professionals and high-net-worth individuals, many of whom call Bandra home. Indeed, the area boasts a star-studded resident list, including actors such as Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Tripti Dimri, and Ranbir Kapoor, further solidifying its status as a prime address.

John Abraham, known for his diverse acting career spanning hits like "Dhoom," "Madras Cafe," and "Pathaan," as well as his successful foray into film production with J.A. Entertainment, demonstrates a keen business acumen extending beyond the silver screen. This calculated real estate venture not only underscores the robust nature of Mumbai's property market but also positions Abraham to accrue substantial passive income from his investments in one of the city's most desirable locales.
