The latest film is based on true events and explores the courageous story of JP Singh, who rescued an Indian woman Uzma Ahmad from Pakistan in 2017. Uzma had traveled to Pakistan to marry a man she met in Malaysia, but was forced into marriage at gunpoint, tortured, and eventually sought help from the Indian High Commission, where JP Singh, then deputy high commissioner, played a pivotal role in her rescue.
The latest film is directed by Shivam Nair and is inspired by true events. The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar (T-Series), Vipul D. Shah, Ashwin Varde, Rajesh Bahl (Wakaoo Films), Sameer Dixit, Jatish Varma, and Rakesh Dang (Fortune Pictures/Seeta Films). In addition to starring, John has also produced the film.
