Prime Video has confirmed that renowned actors Jamie Campbell Bower and Eddie Marsan will be joining the cast of The Lord of the Rings:

The Rings of Power for its highly anticipated third season. Currently in pre-production, the new season will begin filming this spring at Shepperton Studios in the UK, marking an exciting new chapter for the series.

Bower will feature as a series regular, while Marsan will have a recurring role. The announcement has generated significant buzz, with The Rings of Power already being one of Amazon’s strongest drivers for new Prime memberships, having attracted over 170 million viewers globally.

Jamie Campbell Bower, one of the UK’s brightest stars, has an extensive career spanning theatre, TV, and film. He is widely acclaimed for his role as Henry Creel/Vecna in Stranger Things. His TV credits also include Urban Myths: Mick & Margaret, Will, Camelot, and The Prisoner.

On the big screen, he is best known for his portrayal of Gellert Grindelwald in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I and Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. Bower’s acting repertoire extends to Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, The Twilight Saga, The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones, and Horizon: An American Saga.

Eddie Marsan, a two-time BIFA Award winner, has had an illustrious career spanning over two decades.
