Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez has undergone some personal struggles over the last few years. She made headlines for money laundering and has recently lost her mother last month.
However, she has recently reflected on how she draws emotional strength from her family.
During a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter India, Jacqueline spoke about the difficulties she's encountered, particularly the intense scrutiny surrounding her alleged ties to conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar.
She shared, “What we go through as actors in the industry, our parents also go through it. Everything, it's out there. It takes so much for parents to still support you through everything. My mother was always proud of me and she would always want me to keep striving and dreaming.”
The Delhi High Court reserved its decision in April on Jacqueline's petition against the Enforcement Directorate's case under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, which alleges she received costly gifts from Sukesh Chandrashekhar, accused in a Rs 200 crore money laundering case.
However, the actress lost her mother last month and recently appreciated the time she had spent with her mother during her final days.

Jacqueline said, “I was lucky that I was able to spend the last few months with her. I always feel I wish I did more. What could I have done more? It takes a lot of time to come to terms with it. I don't think I have still come to terms with it... She was always my biggest cheerleader.”
On the work front, Jacqueline Fernandez was last seen in Fateh alongside Sonu Sood and Naseeruddin Shah. The actress has a few exciting projects in her pipeline, including Welcome to the Jungle and Housefull 5. The actress is currently making waves at the Cannes Film Festival.
