Hollywood actor Jacob Elordi, who is known for The Kissing Booth film series, has recently revealed that he once considered taking a break from acting. However, he changed his mind when he was approached for the upcoming film, Wuthering Heights.

In a recent interview with IndieWire, the actor has recently revealed that filmmaker Emerald Fennell approached him for the project. He said, “I was really lucky. I was going to take a break for a while, and then Emerald just very simply texted me, and you can’t run from that text.”

Emerald and Jabob have previously collaborated on Saltburn (2023).

Meanwhile, Wuthering Heights is an adaptation of the 1847 novel by Emily Brontë and also features Margot Robbie in the pivotal role. The plot of the upcoming film follows the tumultuous relationship between Catherine Earnshaw (Margot) and Heathcliff (Jacob).

However, the actor also shared his experience about working with Margot. He said, "She’s incredible in the film, she’s a livewire. I’m so, so excited for people to see it. She’s a beautiful actor and she gave so, so much."
