Ishaan Khatter recently danced to the chart-topping hit Mic Drop by BTS and his electrifying stage presence reached new heights and caused a stir among fans and the international K-pop community.

The young Bollywood was seen performing at the Miss World 2025 final in Hyderabad.

Even though his medley had several tracks, the BTS song's surprising inclusion was what caused it to go viral right away. In addition to entertaining the crowd at the HITEX Exhibition Centre, the energetic crossover attracted the interest of BTS's ardent fan base, ARMY.

When Indian K-pop fans discovered that Ishaan is a fan of BTS, they were ecstatic, and social media was flooded with praise.

A video of Ishaan’s performance soon found its way to Reddit’s popular BollyBlindsNGossip page, where users couldn’t stop raving about his moves. One fan exclaimed, “As a kpop fan…..this is a crossover I never expected,” while another suggested, “Ngl he should definitely do a dance collab with BTS.” A third user added, “He’s so talented!”

However, reactions on Instagram were more mixed. While many admired the energy he brought to the stage, a few viewers criticised the execution. One ARMY member quipped, “Choreography left the world,” and another harshly remarked, “I’m embarrassed on their behalf.” Nonetheless, the majority agreed that Ishaan’s bold performance was a refreshing moment at the global event.
