
Indira Krishnan is all set to reunite with her Animal co-star Ranbir Kapoor in the highly anticipated mythological epic, Ramayana.
Indira and Ranbir had a tense on-screen interaction in the 2023 criminal drama, but their roles in the new movie show a far different chemistry. In the Ramayana, Indira will play the mother, Kaushalya, of Lord Ram, who is portrayed by Ranbir Kapoor.
She praised Ranbir and talked about their collaboration. Indira complimented Ranbir’s commitment and acting prowess in her post.
She stated that life experience, creativity, and empathy are vital assets for every performer, citing acting instructor Scott Freeman.
Indira recently shared a picture with Ranbir from the set of the film. Sharing the picture, the actress penned in the caption, “Here u go… The three imp tools for any actor is lived experience,imagination and empathy -Scott Freeman.”
She continued by characterising Ranbir as an actor whose roles frequently make an impact and stand out. The actress added that she enjoyed working with him that day and that she valued the advice and pointers he gave her.

In the picture, Ranbir flaunted a clean-shaven look, which is thought to be a part of his image for Lord Ram. The actress posed with Ranbir in the picture.
The film stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita, and Yash as Ravana.
Ramayana: Part 1 will hit the theatres on November 8, 2026, followed by the second instalment releasing in late 2027.
