Indian Idol 12 winner Pawandeep Rajan recently suffered multiple limb fractures following a terrifying road accident. He was rushed to the hospital and was admitted to the ICU. He had to undergo a six-hour surgery after suffering multiple fractures in his legs, head, and shoulder.

Pawandeep is now in a better condition and is recovering after being shifted to the private room. However, the singer’s close friend, Govind Digari, recently visited him in the hospital and shared an update on his health.

Govind took to his Instagram and shared a photo of Pawandeep smiling while lying on the hospital bed surrounded by his loved ones. Alongside the photo, he penned in Hindi, “Aap sabhi ke aashirwad se Pawan ab kaafi theek hai (With all your blessings, Pawan is now doing much better).”

The singer received love and get-well-soon messages from his fans.

The latest update came after Pawandeep’s team issued an official statement about his accident. His team shared the details of the accident ahead of an event in Ahmedabad on May 5. He was on his way to catch a flight to Ahmedabad for the event.

Pawandeep Rajan's SUV collided with a stationary truck that had broken down on the side of National Highway-9 near Gajraula, Amroha, at around 2.30 am. Pawandeep’s driver, Rahul Singh, and fellow passenger Ajay Mehra were also injured in the crash. All three were rushed to the local hospital and were later referred to a higher medical centre for advanced care.
