Suniel Shetty and Jackie Shroff to star in The Hunters sequel

Suniel Shetty is all set to return as Vikram Sinha in the highly anticipated Hunter Season 2. The makers have recently unveiled the teaser of the new season, creating a buzz among the fans.

The teaser revealed that Jackie Shroff has joined the cast in a powerful new role. He will portray the sinister Salesman. The action-packed teaser teased that the new season will be a rollercoaster of emotions and feature some intense face-offs. The teaser further hints at the start of a high-octane battle across Mumbai and Thailand.

The upcoming season promises to deliver an entertaining blend of crime, drama, and mass appeal.

Suniel Shetty has recently talked about reprising his character and said, “Season 1 was special. It had the thrill of discovery of this world and of Vikram’s journey. The audience saw him running from his past while trying to uphold justice.”

He teased the upcoming instalment and added, “But in Season 2, that past catches up in the most unimaginable way. Vikram is pushed to his breaking point. He’s a father on a mission, with nothing left to lose. This chapter took a lot out of me, and I think that truth will hit hard on screen.”

Jackie Shroff expressed his enthusiasm about joining the series and recalled, “When I first heard about Salesman, I was hooked. He’s layered, smooth, calculated, and you never quite know what he’s thinking. It was the kind of character that gives you a lot of room to play with.”

Jackie Shroff further shared that the new season packs a solid punch with the blend of deeply rooted emotions.

While talking about working with Shetty, he added, “Sharing the screen with Anna again, but this time on opposite sides, was a treat. Hope our bhidus who watch us enjoy this battle of minds and morals.”

Directed by Prince Dhiman and Alok Batra, the crime thriller is produced by Yoodlee Films. Led by Suniel Shetty and Jackie Shroff, Hunter Season 2 also features Anusha Dandekar and Barkha Bisht in pivotal roles.
