Hrithik Roshan and NTR starrer War 2's trailer to unveil on July 25 marking a special reason: Here is what we know

War 2, which was directed by Ayan Mukerji, will be released in theatres on August 14, 2025.

Hrithik Roshan and NTR’s much-anticipated collaboration in YRF Spy Universe’s War 2 has already sparked massive buzz following the release of its initial promo. Adding to the excitement, Yash Raj Films has officially announced the trailer launch date for the high-octane action entertainer.

War 2, which was directed by Ayan Mukerji, will be released in theatres on August 14, 2025. In honour of Hrithik Roshan and NTR, who are both commemorating their 25 years in the business this year, YRF has decided to release the trailer for what is billed as the year's biggest film event on 25 July.

The announcement was also shared on social media by the studio, which praised the two stars' outstanding contributions to Indian cinema.

The company wrote, “In 2025, 2 Icons of Indian cinema complete 25 years of their glorious cinematic journey. To celebrate this once in a lifetime moment, YRF marks July 25 as the trailer launch date of WAR 2!! Here’s to the most epic clash of the TITANS!! Mark your calendars.”

The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has formally approved the War 2 trailer, which is another exciting development for fans and industry circles.

With a U/A 16+ rating on Friday, July 18, the action-packed 2-minute, 39-second promo is scheduled for release the following week.

Earlier on May 20, YRF had dropped the teaser for War 2, which is currently playing in theatres alongside Saiyaara, another YRF venture that opened to a roaring response today.

Set to release in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil, War 2 also features Kiara Advani in the lead female role, adding further star power to this explosive pan-India action spectacle.
