Bollywood actress Shazahn Padamsee, best known for her roles in Housefull 2 and Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year, is all set to marry her longtime partner, Ashish Kanakia. The couple will wed on June 5, 2025, in an intimate ceremony at a five-star hotel in Mumbai.

According to sources close to the couple, the wedding will be a close-knit two-day celebration with only family and close friends in attendance. Following the nuptials, a sangeet and an after-party have been planned for June 7 at the same venue, where the newlyweds will celebrate in style with their inner circle.

Shazahn, the daughter of renowned theatre icon and adman Alyque Padamsee and singer Sharon Prabhakar, got engaged to Ashish on November 13, 2024. The engagement was followed by a roka ceremony on January 20, 2025, held in accordance with Gujarati traditions. Both events were kept private, reflecting the couple’s preference for keeping their personal milestones low-key.

In a previous interview with ETimes, Shazahn opened up about their love story. She revealed that a mutual friend introduced them, and while they instantly clicked, they didn’t rush into a relationship. After a few dinners together, the duo began dating seriously.

Speaking about her bond with Ashish, Shazahn said, "He makes me laugh and feel warm. Even though we come from different worlds, our core values are surprisingly aligned." She described him as someone who lovingly teases her and brings out the best in her personality.

While their temperaments differ — with Ashish being disciplined and detail-oriented and Shazahn admitting she’s still working on time management — their shared interests keep the spark alive. The couple loves traveling and attending music festivals, which has helped strengthen their connection over time.

Ashish Kanakia, who serves as the CEO of MovieMax Cinemas and a director at the Kanakia Group, proposed to Shazahn in a picture-perfect moment. She later shared the news on Instagram with the caption, “Can’t wait to start forever with you.”
