Hombale Films backs entire Mahavatar Universe, says producer Shilpa Dhawan as Mahavatar Narsimha breaks records

Since the release of the recent mythological action film Mahavatar Narsimha, which is getting rave reviews with people flocking cinema halls for its ambitious storytelling and sheer magnitude of its cinematic vision.

In a recent press meet, producer Shilpa Dhawan and director Ashwin Kumar's wife made a brazen revelation that indicates the well-established confidence behind the venture.
Shilpa shared, “When we first reached out to Hombale Films, they immediately came on board for all films of the Mahavatar Universe. They wanted to back the entire universe,” Dhawan shared.

“That kind of conviction gave us the confidence to announce all the films before even releasing the first,” added the producer.

The collaboration with the powerhouse film studio Hombale Films by Shilpa Dhawan is set to define one of India's most comprehensive cinematic universes based on mythology and divinity.

The highly anticipated animated film of the year has now become the highest-grossing Indian animated film of all time. Mahavatar Narsimha has crossed the Rs 100 crore mark in India.

Even two weeks after its release, the film continues its strong box office run with impressive numbers, adding daily to its chart.

Produced by Kleem Productions and presented by Hombale Films, Mahavatar Narsimha continues to perform well at the box office. The film has earned Rs 91.25 crore in India within just 10 days of its release and has a worldwide total of Rs 112 crore.

Mahavatar Narsimha, which delves into the tale of the divine and ferocious half-man, half-lion form of Vishnu, is merely the first chapter in an extended narrative woven across multiple timelines and avatars.

The film explores the classic story of Prahlada and his despotic father Hiranyakashipu. Narsimha, Lord Vishnu's fourth avatar, arrives dramatically at the end of the story to restore dharma. Meanwhile, Mahavatar Narsimha is the first instalment in a ten-part cinematic journey that chronicles Lord Vishnu's avatars.
