Techno lovers, brace yourselves. The queen of hard techno herself, Sara Landry, is officially coming to India — and she's not coming quietly.
The globally renowned DJ and producer, recently crowned World’s No.1 Hard DJ in DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs 2025, has just been announced as the second headliner of this year’s Sunburn Festival. Set to take place from December 19 to 21 at Infinity Bay, Sewri (Mumbai), this will be Sara’s first-ever performance in India, and expectations couldn’t be higher.
Known around the world as the “High Priestess of Hard Techno,” Sara’s sets are less concerts and more full-blown spiritual experiences — think pounding bass, hypnotic rhythms, strobes cutting through darkness, and a crowd moving in pure, electrified sync. Her music is raw, heavy, and completely immersive, fusing intense energy with deep emotion — a signature style that’s taken her from underground clubs in Berlin to the world’s biggest festivals.
This year's theme at Sunburn is Beyond Reality, so Landry's participation seems entirely appropriate. Her appearance suggests that Sunburn 2025 will be about more than just big-name performers; it's about pushing the boundaries of sound and producing dancefloor experiences that are unforgettable and nearly transcendental.
Sunburn CEO Karan Singh expressed the enthusiasm, stating:
“Sara Landry represents a new wave of electronic music that is taking over the world, and her inclusion at Sunburn Festival 2025 reflects the diversity, depth and future of the global scene. Her debut at our festival is going to be unlike anything we’ve experienced before.”
This year's lineup is looking to be one of Sunburn's most daring and diverse yet, with Sara Landry joining David Guetta as the headliner.
Tickets are now live on BookMyShow, and if you're a techno fan (or just looking to be absolutely blown away), this is one act you won’t want to miss.
