Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown has reportedly filed a formal complaint against fellow cast member David Harbour, alleging “bullying and harassment” during the production of the show’s eagerly awaited fifth and final season.
The complaint, said to have been submitted ahead of filming, has sparked internal investigations at Netflix, casting a cloud over one of the streaming platform’s most iconic franchises as it nears its conclusion.
According to a report by Radaronline.com, the 20-year-old actor, who plays the beloved character Eleven, submitted “pages and pages” of detailed accusations against Harbour, 50, who portrays Sheriff Jim Hopper.
A source familiar with the matter was quoted saying, “Millie Bobby Brown filed a harassment and bullying claim before they started shooting the last season. There were pages and pages of accusations. The investigation went on for months.” The insider further clarified that the allegations were not of a sexual nature.
Netflix has so far remained tight-lipped, declining to issue an official statement. Insiders, however, insist that the company is determined to prevent the off-camera fallout from overshadowing the monumental farewell season. “It will be a theatrical event. Nothing is going to overshadow this, not even the leading man’s private life,” a source was quoted.
Created by the Duffer Brothers and first released in 2016, Stranger Things quickly became a global sensation, blending sci-fi thrills, supernatural elements, and 1980s nostalgia to capture a loyal following.
