Enrique Iglesias and Anna Kournikova are soaking up the joy of welcoming a new baby, quietly expanding their close-knit family once again.

The singer, 50, and the former tennis champion, 44, recently became parents for the fourth time, a milestone they chose to share in their typically low-key and heartfelt way.

The couple announced the happy news on Instagram on Monday, Dec. 22, revealing that their baby was born on Wednesday, Dec. 17.

Their newest arrival joins twins Lucy and Nicholas, now 8, and daughter Mary, who is 5. As with much of their family life, Enrique Iglesias and Anna Kournikova have kept details private, choosing not to reveal the baby’s name or sex just yet.

The shared photo captured a tender moment: the newborn wrapped in a blanket, wearing a hospital beanie and cuddled up next to a sloth soft toy. The caption was simple and emotional — “My Sunshine 12.17.2025” — perfectly reflecting the couple’s quiet happiness.

A source previously told PEOPLE in August that another baby was on the way, sharing insight into how the pair felt about growing their family. “Anna and Enrique are very happy to become parents again,” the source said. “They have proven to be great parents to their three children, and both of them love the process. They enjoy the activities and all that goes along with raising children.”

Family has increasingly taken centre stage for Enrique Iglesias, who has deliberately slowed down his touring schedule in recent years. According to the same source, time away from home has become harder now that his children are growing up. While he still loves performing, his priorities have shifted. “Being a dad is very important to him,” they explained.

Anna Kournikova offered a rare glimpse into their everyday life in October, sharing a sweet Halloween photo with her children. The family dressed up together, with Anna Kournikova in a cheerful yellow duck costume, her daughters in matching pumpkin outfits and her son wearing a yellow ombré T-shirt, giving fans a glimpse of their playful side.

Enrique Iglesias and Anna Kournikova first met back in December 2001 while filming his “Escape” music video. They made their first red-carpet appearance together at the MTV Video Music Awards the following year. Parenthood has long been something Anna Kournikova dreamed of, once saying she “absolutely” wanted children — a wish that has clearly been fulfilled in the most meaningful way.
