Singer-songwriter Dolly Parton is going through a tough time as she is suffering from health issues. Her sister Freida Parton urged fans and followers to pray for her well-being.
Freida took to Facebook and urged fans to pray for her sister, popularly known for songs like Islands in the Stream, 9 to 5, and Here You Come Again.
She revealed that she spent the entire night praying for Dolly and appealed to fans worldwide to join her in prayer.
She wrote in the post, “Last night, I was up all night praying for my sister, Dolly. Many of you know she hasn’t been feeling her best lately. I truly believe in the power of prayer, and I have been led to ask everyone who loves her to be prayer warriors and pray with me."
Freida expressed confidence that with the support and prayers of fans, Dolly will recover soon. “She’s strong, she’s loved, and with all the prayers being lifted for her, I know in my heart she’s going to be just fine. Godspeed, my sissy Dolly. We all love you!” she added.
Dolly has not disclosed specific details about her health, but the BBC reported that she recently had to cancel an appearance at a Dollywood event after being diagnosed with a kidney stone.
Last week, she also announced that she would be postponing her upcoming Las Vegas concerts due to medical reasons.

Her physicians recommended certain procedures that would necessitate recuperation and rest. Her December events have all been rescheduled for September 2026.
Dolly also mentioned that she intends to continue working on other projects from her Nashville home, but she stressed that she needs time to heal and regain her strength before doing live again. She assured her fans that she has no intention of leaving the music industry.
