Coldplay frontman Chris Martin and actress Sophie Turner have recently sparked romance speculations after they were spotted together on a ‘secret date’.

According to DailyMail, there were feverish songs on the dance floor, arguing and squabbling between the Joan star and an aristocrat, according to sources.

The reports further suggested that Sophie went on a date with Chris the very next week, so she wasn't sitting around feeling depressed about losing her Viscount-in-waiting.

Following reports that they were spotted together, speculation about Chris and Sophie grew.

Chris has long been a favourite of Sophie's. Chris sent Turner a birthday video message during a previous episode of the "Cup Of Joe" podcast, which sparked an emotional response.

Sophie left excited after seeing the video and exclaimed with excitement. In the video, the Coldplay frontman said, “It's Chris Martin! This is Chris from Coldplay, I wanted to say on behalf of me and the even more handsome members of our band, have the best day and I'm sending you all my love and I hope your having the best time." He concluded, "Thanks for being awesome, bye," and blew a kiss at the camera.

Visibly moved, Sophie said, "I'm not going to cry on camera," as she shared the moment with Jonas, who had arranged the message. The pair then high-fived each other.

Both Chris and Sophie have recently ended their long-term relationships. While Chris, who is well-known for his work with Coldplay, recently split from actress Dakota Johnson, Sophie has also seen changes in her personal life following her divorce from singer Joe Jonas and a brief relationship with Peregrine Pearson.

After an eight-year intermittent relationship, Chris and Dakota called off their engagement in June. The former couple parted ways reportedly over conflicts over their future, including their plans for marriage and their opinions on having children.

Meanwhile, Sophie Turner had a long-term relationship with Joe Jonas before she became involved with Pearson. After dating since 2016 and getting married in 2019, Jonas filed for divorce in September 2023. They have two daughters.
