Julian McMahon, who was known for his iconic roles in Charmed, Nip/Tuck and Fantastic Four, tragically passed away after a private battle with cancer. He was 56. The news of his death was shared by his wife, Kelly McMahon, on her social media. Soon after the reports of his death were revealed, several fans, friends and co-stars started pouring tributes on social media.
Among Julian’s former co-stars was Holly Marie Combs. Holly took to her Instagram and shared a video montage tribute featuring several behind-the-scenes memories from the set of their show, Charmed. She called Julian “one of a kind” and praised his ability to make others laugh.
She wrote in the caption, “One of a kind is an understatement. Your unyielding zest for life and crazy making sense of humor will be sorely missed. The joy and laughter you were the direct cause of will always be remembered. I hope you find our lady friend and dance in those rose petals,” adding a rose emoji.
Holly Combs played Piper Halliwell on Charmed while Julian McMahon portrayed Cole Turner, a pivotal character in the series, from 2000 to 2005. The duo formed a strong friendship while working on the set.

The show revolves around Combs’ character, which makes the series even more memorable and iconic. Combs and Julian’s characters eventually became beloved characters, especially because of their care and protective instinct for the youngest Halliwell sister, and Cole’s love interest, Phoebe.
Julian McMahon is survived by his wife, Kelly, and a daughter, Madison.
