Hit 3 director Sailesh Kolanu has a special message for Under 18 audience "it may not be a suitable watch, they should stay away from the film"

Nani’s much-awaited Telugu action drama HIT: The Third Case is set to hit theaters soon, and director Sailesh Kolanu has already made waves with his candid message about the film's suitability for younger audiences. As the film prepares for its release, Sailesh took the opportunity to address concerns about its content, especially for those under the age of 18.

The film, which has been granted an 'A' (Adult) rating by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), is expected to be packed with intense violence and mature themes, which has led the filmmakers to caution younger viewers.

During the pre-release event for the movie, Sailesh Kolanu directly appealed to the under-18 audience, stressing the importance of taking the film’s content seriously. He said, “The film is going to be violent. So, for under-18 audiences, it may not be a suitable watch. So very responsibly, we’re telling, ‘Under-18 stay away from HIT 3’.”

While many action films often blur the line when it comes to age-appropriate content, HIT 3 is making it clear that it is intended for mature viewers only.

The film is part of the popular HIT franchise, with HIT (2020) and HIT: The Second Case (2022) both already gaining recognition for their gripping narratives.

In this third instalment, Nani takes centre stage, following in the footsteps of Vishwak Sen and Adivi Sesh, who played leading roles in the previous films. The upcoming movie promises to continue the legacy of the franchise, with its gritty, suspenseful plot and intense action sequences.

Interestingly, the release of HIT 3 will clash with the highly anticipated Retro, starring Suriya and directed by Karthik Subbaraj. Despite the clash, the filmmakers of both films have shown no animosity, with the mood remaining cordial. “We’re not really concerned about the clash,” said a source close to the HIT 3 team.

In a show of support, Vishwak Sen and Adivi Sesh, both of whom were part of the previous films in the HIT franchise, made appearances at the pre-release event, lending their encouragement to the project. Additionally, Adivi Sesh is rumored to have a special cameo in HIT 3, further tying together the continuity of the franchise.

Meanwhile, speculation is rife about the future of the HIT series, with rumors suggesting that Tamil actor Karthi might take over the lead role in the franchise after Nani. However, neither the makers nor the actors have officially commented on the buzz, leaving fans to connect the dots on their own.

As HIT 3 gears up for its release, excitement continues to build, especially with its intriguing storyline and star-studded cameos, leaving fans eagerly awaiting the film’s action-packed journey.
