The Nani starrer Telugu crime thriller HIT: The Third Case remained decent at the box office, except for a minor collection drop over the weekend. The film on its fourth day, Sunday (May 4) showed a drop of 9.52% approx and has made a net collection of Rs 9.41 crore approx across India, according to Sacnilk's report.
Even slightly despite falling by just 0.95% on Saturday (May 3), HIT 3 joined the Rs 50 cr club at the close of its four-day lifetime in cinemas, with a domestic net total of Rs 51.31 cr. The film, which was released on May 1, enjoyed a good start with a collection of around Rs 21 crore on Day 1.
Directed by Sailesh Kolanu and produced by Prashanti Tipirneni under the banners of Wall Poster Cinema and Unanimous Productions, the film met its major revenue in the regions dominated by people of Telugu. On 4 May, Telugu screenings achieved an average occupancy of 49.96% and overtook the Tamil-dubbed version despite competition from Suriya’s Retro.
Reactions to HIT3 are rising around the world right now. The filmmakers soon took to Instagram to reveal that the high-octane drama raked in over Rs 62 crore at the box office worldwide within two days. According to the latest update published by Sacnilk, the film has raked in Rs 68.40 crore gross worldwide including Rs 19 crore from international centres.
HIT 3 starred KGF actress Srinidhi Shetty in the leading role opposite Nani, with a talented supporting cast that includes Surya Srinivas, Adil Pala, Rao Ramesh, Samuthirakani, Komalee Prasad, Nepoleon, Ravindra Vijay, and Prateik Babbar.
With a stronghold at ticket windows and good WOM, HIT 3 is set to run longer in the coming days.
