Recently, Hina Khan visited Mecca for Umrah with her brother. She documented her trip on social media, with several critics raising doubts over her cancer.

Meanwhile, in a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Hina called out the critics and said that the trip was special for her. She also insisted that she needed that long trip.

Hina Khan said, “It was a very meaningful trip and yeh mere liye bahut zaroori tha. I needed that emotional release and woh wahi jaa ke ho sakta tha.” The actress added, “Mujhe bohot daant pade hai waha jaane ke liye. Aaj subah bhi main mere doctor se baat kar rahi thi.”

She also emphasized that she wasn’t trying to set an example or impose her views on others. She said, “Mai nahi bol rahi hu, main jo kar rahi hu sab hai ya perfect hai, neither I am advocating it, but I will do what I feel is right. It may not be right for somebody else.”

While addressing the criticism, Hina noted, “As I am saying, I did got scolding for that ki you know you should not have gone because aap itni proximity mein ho logo ke saath sab kuch, but somehow my heart said nahi tumko jaana chahiye aur mai gayi, aur touch wood, Alhamdulillah, everything was so smooth."

For the unversed, Hina Khan shared her cancer diagnosis in June 2024 and has since been open with her fans about her journey, including her emotional, mental, and physical struggles.
