Hina Khan named honorary ambassador for Korea tourism, shares photos from ceremony

Actress Hina Khan had a touching and memorable moment that made her fans around the world smile despite her ongoing fight with stage 3 breast cancer.

The TV personality recently took a picture-perfect vacation to South Korea with her long-time partner Rocky Jaiswal, and it wasn't just for fun. Hina became the face of Korean travel advertising in India when she was formally named the Honorary Ambassador for Korea Tourism during the visit.

By touring famous filming sites and picturesque landmarks that Korean drama fans would immediately recognise, the couple fully immersed themselves in the K-drama fantasy. Their trip was a K-drama fan's paradise, complete with charming cafés, peaceful bridges, and atmospheric alleys straight out of hit shows like Goblin. They even started their journey at the well-known BTS bus stop in Gangneung, which is a destination for ARMY fans all over the world.

Hina shared stunning images from the ambassadorial ceremony on Instagram, radiating grace in a floor-length blue gown designed by Limerick. Reflecting on the honour, she wrote: “Honoured to be appointed as the Honorary Ambassador of Korea Tourism! Excited to promote the beauty, culture, and warmth of Korea. My experience in the past few days of visiting this beautiful country cannot be summoned in one word. From ancient palaces to vibrant streets, Korea’s magic is waiting to be explored.”

She went on to add, “Can’t wait to show everyone the amazing sights, delicious food, and incredible culture Korea has to offer. Thank you Mr. Andrew JH Kim and @kto_india for this honour."

The stunning Daegwallyeong Samyang Ranch, the imaginative, modern Haslla Art World, and Jumunjin Beach were all mentioned in the couple's travel journal. Their trip echoed the emotional, sophisticated, and profoundly moving tone of a classic Korean drama and was full of scenic beauty and cultural richness.
