The first edition of the UN40 Music Festival wrapped up on a high note in Bengaluru, bringing together music lovers, creators and performers for a lively two-day celebration.
Held at NICE Grounds, the festival drew nearly 18,000 attendees, marking a successful debut for the event organised by Saregama Live.
More than just a music concert, UN40 was designed as an all-day experience where visitors could explore entertainment beyond the stage.
From live music performances and comedy acts by creators to gaming zones, curated food stalls and social spaces, the festival created an atmosphere where there was always something new happening around the venue.
One of the highlights of the festival was the FilterCopy pre-game party, hosted in the beer garden, which set the tone for the energetic weekend. Creator-led comedy performances, interactive games and pop-up activities across the grounds added to the excitement, giving attendees plenty of opportunities to relax, explore and enjoy the festival with friends.
The music line-up featured a diverse mix of artists who kept the crowd engaged throughout the weekend. Performers including Aditya Rikhari, Shalmali Kholgade, Paradox, Pragati Nagpal, Raja Kumari, Reble, Thaikkudam Bridge, Paal Dabba and Maahi brought different musical styles to the stage, ensuring there was something for everyone.
The festival’s biggest moments came during the headline performances. On Day 1, Himesh Reshammiya delivered a high-energy set that had the crowd singing along to several of his most popular songs.
On Day 2, Talwiinder closed the festival with his distinctive sound, leaving audiences with a memorable finale to the weekend.
UN40 also stood out for the small, unexpected experiences scattered across the venue. From roaming masseuses offering quick breaks between performances to surprise drink shots moving through the crowd and photographers capturing candid moments, these playful additions encouraged festival-goers to soak in the atmosphere and enjoy the event at their own pace.
Speaking about the idea behind the festival, Siddharth Anand Kumar, Executive Vice President – Films, Series and Events at Saregama, said, “The way audiences engage with live entertainment is evolving. People today are looking for experiences that go beyond just watching a performance. With UN40, the idea was to build a festival where the audience could spend the entire day discovering something new — whether it was music, comedy, food, games or spontaneous moments across the venue. It was incredibly rewarding to see people embrace the festival in that spirit over the two days.”
With a strong turnout and enthusiastic response, the debut edition of UN40 Music Festival has added a fresh new entry to Bengaluru’s live entertainment calendar.
Building on this momentum, organisers have already announced that the festival will return for its second edition in February 2027, promising an even bigger celebration of music, culture and shared experiences.
