Tom Hardy is gearing up for his next high-octane action thriller, Havoc, set to stream on Netflix. Directed by Gareth Evans, known for his masterful action sequences, the film promises a gripping ride through the dark and dangerous corners of the criminal underworld.
Hardy takes on the role of Walker, a detective who finds himself caught in a brutal fight for survival. Tasked with rescuing a politician’s estranged son after a drug deal goes terribly wrong, Walker is forced to navigate a corrupt and ruthless world. Netflix has officially announced that Havoc will premiere on April 25, 2025. The streaming platform also gave fans a first glimpse of the intense action thriller by unveiling its teaser trailer on Instagram.

Netflix's upcoming action thriller Havoc has an official synopsis that sets the stage for an intense and gripping storyline. The film follows Walker, a hardened detective who finds himself pursued by multiple dangerous factions—including a ruthless crime syndicate, a corrupt politician, and even his own fellow officers. His mission to rescue the politician’s estranged son, who gets entangled in a failed drug deal, uncovers a much deeper web of conspiracy and corruption. As Walker fights his way through the criminal underworld, he is also forced to confront the ghosts of his past.
Alongside Tom Hardy in the lead role, Havoc boasts a stellar supporting cast, including Jessie Mei Li, Justin Cornwell, Quelin Sepulveda, Luis Guzmán, Michelle Waterson, Sunny Pang, Jim Caesar, Xelia Mendes-Jones, Yeo Yann Yann, Timothy Olyphant, and Forest Whitaker. The film is directed by Gareth Evans, who also serves as a producer alongside Hardy, Ed Talfan, and Aram Tertzakian.
Fans last saw Tom Hardy on the big screen in Venom: The Last Dance, the final installment of the Venom trilogy, which hit theaters in October last year. Now, with Havoc set to premiere on April 25, 2025, audiences are eagerly awaiting another high-octane performance from the action star.
