Harbhajan Singh and Geeta Basra make debut as producers

Former Indian cricketer and politician Harbhajan Singh has recently announced a new career. He has collaborated with his wife and former actress, Geeta Basra, for a new production venture, Purple Rose Entertainment. The couple has transitioned their career as producers.

Geeta took to her Instagram and shared a series of photos with Harbhajan announcing their venture. They posed with the clapboard that revealed the Muhurat event of their production venture. The couple also revealed the logo of Purple Rose Entertainment.

Alongside the photos, Geeta wrote in the caption, “Big smiles, Bigger dreams... and a brand new title for me!” She further revealed that her production banner has already bagged its first project.

She added, “Harbhajan and I have officially rolled cameras for our first project under “Purple Rose Entertainment”, and I’m beyond excited to be stepping into the world of production as a PRODUCER! New ideas, new energy, and a whole lot of heart coming your way very soon!”

For the unversed, Harbhajan Singh and Geeta Basra started dating in London after the former cricketer found himself smitten by Geeta in a music video from her film, The Train. The couple dated each other for eight years and tied the knot on October 29, 2015, in Jalandhar, Punjab. They welcomed their first kid, a daughter, Hinaya Heer Plaha, on July 27, 2016, and a son, Jovan Veer Singh Plaha, on July 10, 2021.
