Several celebrities such Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan and Pawan Kalyan extended their wishes for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 75th birthday.

On September 17, 2025, Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrated his 75th birthday.  People from all over the country have been paying their respects to him, including some of the biggest names in Indian cinema.

Warm regards from South cinema

On X, superstar Rajinikanth posted a heartfelt message. He wrote, “My sincere birthday greetings to the most esteemed, honorable, and beloved Prime Minister @narendramodi ji. I hope you live a long life, stay healthy, have peace of mind, and have the strength to lead our country forever. Jai Hind.”


Ilaiyaraaja, a master of music, also contributed, writing, "We would like to wish our Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji a very happy birthday. India is still being led toward a better future by your inspirational leadership and unwavering commitment. I'm wishing you health, joy, and continued success as you work to make India stronger and better."

Kamal Haasan, an actor and politician, greeted them by saying, "Warmest birthday greetings to Thiru Narendra Modi Avargal, the Hon. Prime Minister. I hope he stays healthy and is able to continue serving the Indian people."


In a lengthy statement, Power Star Pawan Kalyan praised PM Modi's leadership and vision. Mohanlal, Mahesh Babu, and Jr. NTR also posted well wishes on social media. Tarak wrote, “Wishing a very Happy Birthday to the most diligent and dedicated Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji. May your relentless efforts to better our proud nation always shine bright.”

Mahesh Babu wrote, “Happy Birthday to our honourable Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi Ji. May you always be blessed with good health, happiness and continue inspiring us all with your leadership.”


Mohanlal wrote, “Wishing our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji a very Happy Birthday. May you be blessed with good health, happiness, and continued strength to lead our nation towards greater heights.”

Modi's path thus far

Narendra Damodardas Modi, who was born in Mehsana, Gujarat, on September 17, 1950, ascended from modest beginnings to become one of India's most powerful leaders. He was recognized for promoting economic growth and governance reforms while serving as Gujarat's chief minister from 2001 to 2014.
