Govinda appears unbothered and blows kisses during his first public appearance amid divorce rumours with Sunita Ahuja

A report by Hauterrfly states that Sunita Ahuja has initiated divorce proceedings against her husband, Govinda, by filing under specific clauses of the Hindu Marriage Act.

Bollywood actor Govinda made his first public appearance after news of his alleged divorce with wife Sunita Ahuja.

There are reports that the actor's wife has filed for divorce in the family court. The duo is yet to address the rumours. Following the rumours, Govinda was photographed at the Mumbai airport.

A paparazzo's Instagram video captured Govinda arriving at the airport dressed entirely in white and wearing sunglasses. The actor was cheerful and engaging, smiling for the cameras, waving, and even blowing kisses as he posed without any rush to avoid the media.

After a brief photoshoot, he entered the airport, with some fans spotting him but appearing reluctant to approach, while others simply filmed him.

A report by Hauterrfly states that Sunita Ahuja has initiated divorce proceedings against her husband, Govinda, by filing under specific clauses of the Hindu Marriage Act. Although the court summoned Govinda on May 25th and the couple has been in settlement talks since June, he has been absent from the proceedings. In contrast, Sunita has been consistently punctual for all court dates.

This is not the first-time rumours of their split have surfaced. Similar reports emerged in February, suggesting that the couple's differing lifestyles and frequent disagreements were pushing them toward divorce.

Those reports also cited Govinda's growing closeness to a 30-year-old Marathi actress as a major factor in their alleged separation.

Although they filed for divorce six months ago, the couple's lawyer announced they are now reconciling. A family friend, Lalit Bindal, insisted the pair are "going strong" and will always be together. Separately, Sunita indirectly addressed the rumors in a vlog, speaking about them during a visit to a temple from her childhood.
