GOT7 unveils plans for WINTER HEPTAGON comeback

After a hiatus of three years, GOT7 is set to make their highly-anticipated comeback with their new EP, WINTER HEPTAGON. Scheduled for release on January 20, the album marks a significant moment for the group as they return with fresh music and an exciting promotional lineup.

On January 7, GOT7 announced their promotional schedule via their reclaimed social media accounts on X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram. The journey begins with the release of concept photos in four versions: Winter #1 and #2 on January 9 and 10, followed by Heptagon #1 and #2 on January 11 and 13, respectively.

The excitement ramps up with the unveiling of the album’s tracklist on January 13, offering a glimpse of what to expect from WINTER HEPTAGON. On January 15, a highlight medley will be streamed, giving listeners a preview of the tracks. Two days before the album’s official release, on January 18, fans will be treated to a teaser for the music video of the title track. The long-awaited mini-album will drop alongside the music video on January 20.

Before unveiling the schedule, GOT7 reclaimed their old social media accounts, which had been inactive since 2022. These accounts, including their Instagram and X profiles, were introduced as the official ones moving forward. The newer accounts, opened after their departure from JYP Entertainment, will now focus on following the individual members.

This comeback marks the group’s first release since their self-titled album in 2022. The members—Jay B, Mark, Jackson Wang, Jinyoung, Youngjae, BamBam, and Yugyeom—left JYP Entertainment in 2021 after seven years of collaboration, leaving their future as a group uncertain.
