Bollywood star Sharvari Wagh, riding the wave of 'Munjya's success, brought the festivities of Ganesh Chaturthi home, celebrating with her family and sharing a glimpse of the joyous occasion.
The Vedaa actress shared a glimpse of her Ganesh Puja celebrations in her hometown Morgaon, Maharashtra. The post was accompanied by a heartwarming note stating, "Ganpati Bappa Morya ~ गणपती बाप्पा मोरया The most magical time of the year & my moooooosssst favourite festival is here! My saree this year is a 35 year old Kanjivaram saree passed down from my Aaji to my Aai and to me today! Grateful & Thankful for this year.. Sharvari wore an exquisite purple Kanjivaram saree, making the occasion even more special as it is a 35-year-old ancestral saree passed down from her grandmother and mother.
In one of the pictures, showing a beautiful display of family unity, Sharvari, her mother, and her sister looked elegant in matching purple outfits, with Sharvari wearing the stunning ancestral saree.
In another photo, Sharvari was smiling while holding a cute delightful Ganesha statue.

Earlier today, she also shared a black-and-white photo of her Gauri pooja preparations on her Instagram stories. Although she didn't add a caption, Gauri is believed to be an incarnation of Ma Parvati, Lord Ganesha's mother. In Maharashtra, she is honoured as Ganesha's sister and her arrival is seen as a symbol of blessings.
Sharvari is gearing up for her next big project, Alpha, where she stars alongside Alia Bhatt. The duo recently completed filming in the scenic locales of Kashmir. Sharvari's last appearance was in the blockbuster Munjya with Abhay Verma, which performed exceptionally well at the box office. She was also seen in Vedaa, sharing the screen with John Abraham.
