Ram Charan and Kiara Advani's much-anticipated pan-Indian drama, Game Changer, hit theaters on Friday, garnering excitement from fans eagerly awaiting the cinematic masterpiece directed by the renowned Shankar. However, there is a slight setback that fans will have to contend with — the film's popular song, NaaNaa Hyraanaa, has been temporarily removed due to unforeseen technical difficulties.
The film’s production team took to social media to announce the development, explaining that the song had been edited out due to technical issues with the processing of infrared images in the initial prints of the film. The official statement, posted on the film’s X (formerly Twitter) account, read: "Everyone's favourite, #NaanaaHyraanaa | #Lyraanaa | #JaanaHairaanSa from #GameChanger has been edited out due to technical challenges encountered during the processing of infrared images in the initial prints."
While this news might be disappointing for fans who were looking forward to the song, the team reassured them that the issue would be rectified swiftly. "Rest assured, we are diligently working towards adding the song back in the missing content, which will be available starting January 14th," the statement added. The makers emphasized that the fans' anticipation for the song would soon be rewarded, with a promise that the full experience, including NaaNaa Hyraanaa, would be available in theaters shortly.
NaaNaa Hyraanaa (also known as Jaana Hairaan Sa in Hindi) is a romantic ballad that was filmed in New Zealand, and it stands out as the first Indian song shot using an infrared camera.
The track, sung by Shreya Ghoshal and Karthik, has already captured the attention of listeners due to its soothing melodies and beautiful background score. The song’s lyrics were penned by Saraswatiputra Ramajogayya Sastry, while the choreography was directed by Bosco Martis. Its innovative visuals and distinct sound have already made it a fan favorite.
Game Changer, a political thriller, boasts a stellar cast, including Ram Charan, Kiara Advani, Anjali, SJ Suryah, Srikanth, Jayaram, Naveen Chandra, and Prakash Raj in key roles. Directed by Shankar, the film has been generating significant buzz, with early screenings receiving positive reviews from audiences. The film's soundtrack features four tracks, including Jagarandi, Raa Macha Macha, NaaNaa Hyraanaa, and Dhop, and reports suggest that the film's music budget is an impressive Rs 75 crore.
Fans of Game Changer can look forward to the complete experience when NaaNaa Hyraanaa returns to the film in theaters starting January 14th.
