Young actress Nitanshi Goel made a stunning debut at the 78th Cannes Film Festival, attracting attention on the red carpet with an ensemble that expertly combined classic style with modern elegance.

The actress, who represented India with poise and assurance, wore a gorgeous pre-draped ivory saree that honoured the nation's rich textile history while looking chic and young.

Jade by Monica and Karishma created the ethereal saree, which paid homage to the long history of Indian craftsmanship.

The ensemble's delicate embellishments, which included bow embroidery, intricate paisley motifs made using an age-old resist-dying technique, and cascading 3D floral accents, made it stand out with its flowing, pre-constructed drape and long trail. Inspired by vintage heirloom work, the blouse was painstakingly handcrafted with pearls and beads, giving the ensemble depth and sophistication.

Styled by Shrey and Urja, Nitanshi’s appearance was elevated with subtle yet impactful accessories. Among the most eye-catching elements was a custom-made pearl hairpiece by Be Abhika. Featuring cascading pearl strands and tiny photo frames, the accessory was more than a fashion statement—it was a heartfelt tribute. The frames carried images of iconic Indian actresses including Madhubala, Rekha, Sridevi, Vaijayanti Mala, Hema Malini, Wahida Rehman, and Nutan. “With this gesture,” the young star proudly honoured the “India Beauties and their panache on the global stage.”

Delicate bow-shaped earrings that mirrored the saree's embroidery further enhanced her appearance and emphasised the ensemble's themes of femininity, innocence, and Indian design storytelling.
