Bigg Boss Season 19 is all set to return with more drama, chaos and a new theme. The show has always been one of the fans' favourites, featuring some of the most shocking controversies.

From dating scandals and shocking revelations to suicide and explosive fights, the show has time and again crossed the line between reality and chaos, leaving audiences shocked. Take a look at some of the most shocking controversies of the Bigg Boss house.

Armaan Kohli’s arrest

Bigg Boss 7 contestant Armaan Kohli was arrested, becoming a major highlight of the season. The arrest came after another contestant, Sofia Hayat, filed a complaint against Armaan, accusing him of physically assaulting her while she was staying at the house.

Zubair Khan’s suicide attempt

After Salman Khan slammed Zubair Khan for using derogatory language against women during the Weekend Ka Vaar on Bigg Boss 11, the film producer attempted suicide. Zubair accused Salman of threatening him and saying he wouldn't get any jobs in the industry.

Swami Om's pee gate

In season 10, the former Bigg Boss contestant Swami Om made one of the most controversial appearances on the reality show.  During one of the tasks, he doused Rohan Mehra and Bani J, two competitors, with urine. Together with the other contestants, the two then complained to the show's producers. Swami Om was eliminated from the show after his most recent appearance disgusted everyone, despite his reputation as a loudmouth.

Arhaan Khan's dating scandal

The exposé about actor Rashami Desai's ex-boyfriend Arhaan Khan, however, was one controversy that attracted widespread attention. Shortly after Arhaan proposed to Desai on the show, things got more complicated.

Salman Khan then decided to disclose that Arhaan was married and had a child from the marriage during one of the ‘Weekend ka Vaar’ episodes. Rashmi was left shocked and devastated, but so were the other competitors.

The love triangle

In Bigg Boss 17, television actor Isha Malviya and her ex-husband, Abhishek Kumar, were living together in the BB house at the beginning of the show, albeit with a lot of arguments. However, when Samarth Jurel, her ex-boyfriend, joined the show, the roles were reversed.

Although Malviya initially denied dating Jurel, the truth was eventually revealed. When Kumar slapped Jurel for making fun of his mental health, the love triangle reached its most repulsive point.

Salman's no-entry to Priyanka Jagga

Priyanka Jagga is the only competitor in Bigg Boss history to have so infuriated Salman Khan that he had to issue an ultimatum. He warned her, "I would ask Colors TV to never have her return on this show, not just on this channel, but also on this show. I will never again collaborate with Colors if she ever appears on this channel.”

The warning came after Priyanka made fun of the late mother of Manu Punjabi, a contestant. Salman was pushed to his breaking point by her aggressive and unrepentant demeanour.
